In my concluding blog post for this course, I continue to pick up on my previous post about giving up on technology. The point I made in my statement was that there is no reason to give up technology altogether since technology has become an integral part of our daily lives. In lieu of constantly interacting with technology, it is important to take a break and start using it in moderate amounts. These breaks could potentially decrease the strain on your body and protect you from unnecessary information that would have affected your mental capabilities.
Using a small informational poster, I have outlined some beginning tips for taking the next steps towards a digital detox. As a first-time creator, I had to change my mind over and over again looking at all the different templates. Especially since we were given the assignment to create a game from scratch, I was inspired to do something out of the box.

This article is a favorite of mine since I am not advocating going cold turkey and abstaining from technology. The first step of setting a timer is simple enough, by setting aside your technological device for some time can help with the need of not needing it. The second tip of tech swapping is just using analog countermeasures so as to not always rely on technology to get you out of a jam. The third tip of letting others know your intentions of taking a break from technology can help you progress along by not having to worry about excessive notifications from family members and friends who are worried because you are not returning a reply to them. The fourth tip of prioritizing people should motivate you to step away from technology and have more human social connections rather than communicating through a screen. As for the last tip, everyone should take care of themselves throughout the day. In addition to taking a toll on your body mentally, being glued to a screen continuously could damage your eyes as well, causing fatigue, dryness, blurry vision, and headaches. Protect your eyes and avoid the strain that can be placed on them daily

I’ve also created a fun little word search to help someone ease off of the internet and pick up a hobby that usually is done in a paper book. Within this word search, I’ve included some of the new vocabulary words that was mentioned in this course as sort of a small review of what I have learned.
